Giovanni Presutti was born in Florence on 30/03/1965 and currently lives in Prato. After graduating in law, he graduated from the Art School of Florence, and subsequently participated in the prestigious Reflexions Masterclass project under the supervision of Giorgia Fiorio and Gabriel Bauret. His research focuses on a careful observation of the contemporary world whose aspects are often the subject of a strong critical analysis. Using from time to time tools ranging from ironic and paradoxical staging, as in the "Dependency" series, to the construction of imaginary worlds, as in the "Hello Dolly!" and in the recent "China Land", it combines a profound meaning with an accurate aesthetic refinement. His work ranges in various fields, but the direction and the univocal sense of investigation is always clearly visible. Winner of various national and international awards, he has published in the main magazines. His works have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions, both collective and personal, in Italy and abroad and are part of numerous public and private collections.
